GlassOn
Background
GlassOn is a service that helps shop owner digitize their glasses, so customer can try them right in front of their screen. Shop owner only need to send us 2D photo. The cool part is GlassOn based on AR technology, meaning you can rotate your head left and right to see how the glasses fit you. GlassOn already has customers, most of them are Europe-based.

Core problem

We had a meeting involve the whole GlassOn team on evaluating the design of the old landing page and the marketing email. Here are somethings we discovered:
After visiting the website, many customers still asking what is GlassOn in their email.
"I don't know what services you provide, can you tell us more" - said customers.
Some pages was never likely to get visited
Many pages are repeated with unnecessary contents.
The content is not interested enough.
Next step we narrow down to these 4 main problems and figure the solution for them:
Content quality
Clutter navigation
Low demo rates
Lacking of identity
Design progress
Sketching a bit

For the new version, minimal is the main direction I'm looking for. So I collected websites with minimal layout with many white spaces and doesn't contain too many visual elements.

We cut off everything and put everything in a single page. As for the Hero section, I decided to make the title more "catchy". The sub title is a short message that describes what we are offering. The video was replaced by a shorter GIF. Also the navigation menu was removed. Also some improvements for the inquiry form.

Review and Iteration
It took me more than two weeks before rolling out the final design. This is the draft page I made, as you can see it is super messy.

Results and Impact

Average Session Duration increased ~161%, from 1:07 to 2:55.
Bounce rate went from 75.87% to 56.56%. Seem like the new content strategy might actually worked.
The inquiry form conversion rate rose from roughly 0.9% in the previous version to about 3.1%, indicating a substantial increase in user engagement and lead quality.
